Imisi de Almeida is an associate lawyer and has been with JBA Advogados, advising primarily on corporate law matters and assisting clients with litigation and insolvency proceedings.
He has been particularly involved in setting up companies and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), as well as legal advice and management of organisations.
He also has experience in advising on human rights and migration cases in jurisdictions such as South Africa, Brazil and the United States of America.
He has been a member of the Angolan Bar Association since 2021, having gained extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation in the Angolan context.
He is also a member of the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance (IPCG).
